eAccess from American Express Bank has been named “IT/Business Alignment Project of the Year – North America” by The Banker.
eAccess is a cash reporting and transaction research system that delivers real time information from the Bank’s global product centers in the Western Hemisphere, Europe and Asia to clients worldwide via the Internet. eAccess was developed with SunGard, built on the intelliTRAN Customer Service solution, to create an entirely new online banking tool that extends customer service capabilities of the Bank and its customers. The product integrates disparate transaction information, such as SWIFT messages, statement entries, or external clearing messages, and gives one complete view of a transaction that is processed by multiple parties. Its real time balances and transactions module facilitates better payment and funding decisions by enabling cash managers to track their cash positions in real time. Clients who hold multiple accounts with AEB in more than one currency can have a consolidated view of their global multi-currency balance summaries in real time on one screen.
