American Century Investments has completed the acquisition of the retail mutual fund assets of Kopp Investment Advisors. The two acquired Kopp mutual funds have been reorganized into existing American Century mutual funds. Assets totaling approximately $225 million from Kopp Emerging Growth Fund-a small-cap growth strategy-and Kopp Total Quality Management Fund-a large-cap blend strategy-have been added to American Century New Opportunities II Fund and American Century Equity Growth Fund, respectively. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
