AltResources, the private equity fund administrator launched by the former head of Mourants North American operations, is expanding with the hire of Joseph Daly as compliance director.
John Wiencek launched the firm in November last year and hired Daly, who brings 25 years of accounting, compliance and client-service experience in alternative investments to the firm.Daly began his career in public accounting and served in senior finance roles at Bank of New York and, later, Morgan Stanley Fund Services, where he was the global director of Accounting.
AltResources provides accounting, tax and compliance services for private equity funds.
Daly said: “Private equity firms face a demanding regulatory environment and growing risk-management requirements from investors. Independent administrators like AltResources are going to play an important role in helping private equity firms meet these challenges.”
