Allianz Global Investors announced the official formation of its Allianz Global Investors Europe (AllianzGI) subsidiary. The company confirmed that this decision was a natural consequence of its decision to grow its European business beyond its current operations in Germany.
Allianz appointed Michel Haski, directeur Gnral at AGF Asset Management, to become head of sales for AllianzGI Europe in addition to keeping his responsibilities as the member of the executive board of AGF AM in charge of marketing, sales, reporting and client service in France.
Christian Finckh, currently AllianzGI Global General Counsel, will become COO of AllianzGI Europe.
The appointments will be effective from 1st January 2006.
