The Bank of New York has appointed Alison Hume as client executive for Scotland. Based in Edinburgh, and reporting to Ian Hards, managing director, UK fund managers, Hume’s remit is to develop and manage BNY’s relationships with fund managers in Scotland.

Hume joins from Linedata Services Limited, where she had worked for 17 years, most recently as country manager for Scotland.

“The outsourcing requirements of fund managers are becoming increasingly complex,” says Hards. “The Bank of New York has an unparalleled range of services to meet these needs. Our challenge is to help our clients respond to and take advantage of market developments and prioritise the changes required. We are very pleased Alison has chosen to join us. She brings a wealth of experience in the Scottish fund management sector and has a strong track record in relationship management and the provision of solutions to customer business needs.”
