AlfaSec Advisors has opened a new office in Tokyo and appointed Kyoichi Murakawa as chief representative, Japan.
The company says it opened the office to service its Japanese client base and comes at a time when there is a growing focus on cross border investment activity from Japan.
Prior to joining AlfaSec Advisors, Murakawa held senior positions at Clearstream Banking Japan, Deutsche Bank, and Brown Brothers Harriman in the transaction banking business area, where he introduced new products to the Japanese market.
