Alexander Mann has today announced a reorganisation of its senior management team following a simplification of its strategy to focus its resources on its recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) business and its executive search practice, which serves the investment banking and insurance sector.

Alexander Mann Solutions has seen a significant increase in Net Fee Income over recent years, with over 30% growth this year. It is well placed with a unique position within the EMEA and Asia-Pacific RPO sectors. At the same time, Alexander Mann is focusing its search business on its London and Hong Kong hubs, which was voted one of the top two executive search companies in the 2004 Headhunters Poll by AsiaMoney magazine.

With immediate effect, the senior management team will be headed up by Patrick Diggines as chairman and chief executive. Patrick will be supported by Iain McIntosh as group finance director, Rosaleen Blair as global managing director of Alexander Mann Solutions and Mike Brennan as global managing director of the executive search practice. Chris Ross-Roberts has recently relinquished his role as CEO following five years with the group where he initially joined as group finance director. The board would like to wish him well for the future and thank him for his contribution to the business. Chris Ross-Roberts will continue to act for the company as a consultant.

Patrick Diggines was appointed as non-executive chairman of Alexander Mann in September 2003, having formerly been deputy chief executive of Credit Agricole Indosuez UK. During his banking career he was a director of both HR and operations before ultimately heading up a structured finance business for CAI. Iain McIntosh was appointed as group finance director in May 2004. Prior to joining Alexander Mann he held the position of chief financial officer at Liberata, the business process outsourcing group.

“We are focusing the company around what we do best,” said Patrick Diggines. “Alexander Mann is the leading player in the RPO market, which already accounts for the majority of our revenue.”

We have a world-class team and a clear, focused strategy to enable Alexander Mann to fulfil its considerable potential. Iain McIntosh, with his experience in the business process outsourcing market, is a valuable addition to our board,” he added. “Rosaleen Blair is the driving force behind our market-leading Solutions business, while Mike Brennan has the proven track record to lead the global Search business.”
