Aleri, a provider of real-time analytic applications for the financial services industry, hired Jeff Wootton as vice president of product marketing.
Wootton comes to Aleri from InfoDyne where he served as senior vice president of products and services and Reuters where he managed a variety of financial services software products during his tenure, including the most widely used market data platforms in the industry.
“Front office financial trading is one of the key business areas driving streaming analytics technology. Jeff brings to bear a tremendous amount of banking technology expertise through his leadership at Reuters and InfoDyne,” said Brian Ladyman, executive vice president sales and marketing, Aleri. “We are already benefiting from the wealth of experience Jeff brings to the table and are confident he will enable Aleri to build the penetration of our technology, especially in front office banking areas such as algorithmic trading, risk and compliance.”
He most recently served as senior vice president of products and services at InfoDyne, a provider of ticker plant technology, feed handlers and market data integration services specializing in reducing data latency through direct connectivity to exchanges. Prior to InfoDyne, Wootton was a senior vice president at Reuters where he held various senior product management roles for Reuters’ market data products, including global responsibility for the Triarch and TIBCO MDS product lines.
Wootton has a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
