Deutsche Boerse was warned yesterday by two activist funds, Atticus Capital and The Childrens Investment Fund, with large stakes in the exchange to boost shareholder value, the Financial Times reports.
In a joint statement, the funds said they would push Deutsche Boerse to pursue all options to create value, including by making changes to the groups supervisory board.
