The Audit Committee Guidance Committee (ACGC) today submitted its Guidebook for Audit Committees in Singapore to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX).
This Guidebook provides timely assistance and direction to audit committee members. The book comprises the experiences, knowledge and practices of audit committee members for other audit committee members to adapt to suit their specific circumstances. Interactive side of the book covers frequently-asked-questions, case studies, checklists, red flags and sample forms.
During practical guidance ACGC will focus on risk management, fraud, internal controls and the composition of the audit committee.
Online versions of the guidebook will be made available on the MAS, ACRA and SGX websites.
