ABN AMRO says it has agreed to sell its domestic asset management business in Taiwan to ING Group for EUR 68 million.
Following the sale of its Securities and Investment Consulting Enterprise, ABN AMRO will instead focus on expanding its Taiwanese offshore funds business while leveraging the group’s international asset management platform and capabilities.
ABN AMRO will continue to offer its consumer and commercial businesses in Taiwan, which it says, contribute an important part of the bank’s Asian strategy.
