ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services B.V. has been appointed by Stichting Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor de Meubelindustrie en Meubileringsbedrijven (Bpf Meubel) to provide global custody and related services for assets valued at €1.5 billion.

ABN AMRO Mellon was selected as full service provider to Bpf Meubel’s assets following a thorough RFP process.

The mandate, in its totality, comprises global custody, investment accounting, Dutch regulatory reporting, online information delivery, performance measurement, attribution, analytics, compliance monitoring and securities lending.

“Given the scope of their operation in the Netherlands, the breadth and depth of its team’s knowledge of the pensions industry and its class-leading reporting capabilities, ABN AMRO Mellon was by some margin our preferred candidate,” says G.H. Nieuwenhuis, secretary and member of the Board of Trustees at Bpf Meubel.

“I am delighted that Bpf Meubel has confirmed our appointment and my team and I look forward to working closely with them. The Netherlands is one of our two ‘home markets’ and our commitment to our Dutch clients remains unwavering. Our ability to deliver flexible, creative and comprehensive solutions to those clients on a consistent basis is why we are today the leading asset servicing provider in the Netherlands,” adds Nadine Chaker, CEO at ABN AMRO Mellon.
