Screen INFOmatch and Aberdeen Asset Management PLC have entered into an agreement with respect to the use of Screens INFOmatch software.

Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, an international investment management group managing assets for both institutions and private individuals from offices around the world, deploys INFOmatchs ASP version, having the system and its database run on Screen INFOmatchs server farm, which provides secure access from anywhere at anytime.

In recent months, Spearhead, Screens representative in the United Kingdom, had a team of market data consultants on site to populate the database. Aberdeen decided to outsource the data upload process to Spearhead. Although some of this work has been done manually, the largest part of the population was automated by picking up electronic data via Bloomberg SID files and upload these directly into the INFOmatch system through INFOmatchs Bloomberg SID interface. After this upload INFOmatch directly displayed a clear overview of all installed Bloomberg terminals, who uses them, what services are permissioned, price information, and where they are installed.

The agreement between Screen INFOmatch and Aberdeen consists of a managed service model, which means Spearhead will be responsible for maintaining the data within INFOmatch. Aberdeen has chosen to outsource its market data administration due to its complex character and to fully benefit from Screens expertise in this area. The service includes, amongst others, allocating cost to user level, checking and reconciling invoices and delivering highly customised management reports
