HelioGraph, the global Straight Through Processing (STP) solutions provider, today announced that CMG, the international IT services group, has chosen to use HelioGraph’s ISOConverter product to provide ISO15022 migration solutions to its German clients.

The first client to benefit from the combination of SWIFTReady Gold accredited HelioGraph technology and CMG (Provider of S.W.I.F.T. Accredited Services) integration services is the German central bank: Deutsche Bundesbank.

CMG used HelioGraph’s ISOConverter solution to provide the Bundesbank with complete ISO15022 capability. The solution was operational within a matter of weeks and fully protects the banks past technology investment by ensuring that no existing systems needed replacing. The ISOConverter provides a data field dictionary architecture and is a purpose-specific version of HelioGraph’s Message Broker, the only EAI product on the market currently accredited by SWIFT as Ready Gold.

“The Bundesbank’s decision to use HelioGraph technology is based on a recommendation from CMG and represents a great endorsement of our ISOConverter’s key strengths: the correct data field dictionary approach to ISO15022, SWIFT accreditation and a component-based single architecture which safeguards both past and future technology investment.” said Amery Thomas, CEO, HelioGraph.

“CMG’s extensive experience in IT services and its global reputation made them a perfect partner. Together we can offer German financial institutions a unique combination of services and technology to ensure their migration to this complex but crucial new STP-enabling message standard,” added Thomas.

CMG was keen to ensure that any technology it offered its clients was the best possible solution to the ISO15022 migration issue. It chose HelioGraph after a thorough market review.

“Our clients require a high-quality, robust and reliable solution to guarantee a safe and fast migration to ISO15022 messaging. We looked at several technology suppliers, and chose HelioGraph because they offered a proper data field dictionary approach, a flexible single architecture which our clients can easily adapt in the future themselves, combined with unparalleled understanding of the complexities of ISO 15022 and the financial services industry,” said Uwe Damian, National Director for the finance sector at CMG Germany.

HelioGraph’s ISOConverter solution was launched last year and has already been implemented at a number of client sites. Because all HelioGraph products share the same system architecture, there is a straightforward upgrade path available if a client’s requirements change. By implementing a data field dictionary approach, ISOConverter users are benefiting from a tactical solution that is focussed on the ISO migration issue but are acquiring technology which can easily be extended into a strategic platform for connectivity to the likes of GSTPA, SWIFTNet, Omgeo, Oasys and FIX-based services.

CMG will be offering HelioGraph’s ISOConverter to all of its clients in Germany and the two organisations plan to extend the scope of their relationship in the future. CMG is the latest major IT services company to join HelioGraph’s fast-expanding worldwide strategic partnership programme.
