Dutch insurer Aegon has bought a corporate benefits and private client wealth management IFA in the UK called Aurora Financial Group Limited, for an undisclosed sum. Aegon acquired a 9 per cent stake in Aurora last year, with an option to take a bigger stake in the company, and has now acquired the remaining 91 per cent. The Dutch insurer has been expanding its advice and distribution services in the United Kingdom, having bought Elliott Bayley Company Limited, also for an undisclosed sum, last May.
