Linedata Services says its LongView Trading and Linedata Compliance ASP products are selling well.
“Through simple web-based downloads, clients can be up and running using LongView Trading and Linedata Compliance in just minutes, while maintaining the same robust functionality and features of the installed version,” says Jack Wiener, executive vice president, Linedata Services, Inc. “Product enhancements are pushed out to our ASP clients through a secure private network, as soon as they are released. Our ASP clients are already taking advantage of streaming data and real-time P&L enhancements deployed earlier this month without a formal upgrade or any intervention from their IT staffs.”
“We have seen tremendous interest from clients and prospects of all sizes,” adds Michael Rennell, senior vice president, head of global sales at Linedata Services asset management. “By offering clients different levels of service plan, we are alleviating the burden on IT for support, disaster recovery, and database and server administration – really the entire technical environment. By year-end, we expect more than 100 clients to be using the latest versions of LongView Trading and Linedata Compliance through our ASP.”
LongView Trading ASP and Linedata Compliance ASP were launched in 2003. Linedata reckons the trend toward outsourcing increases can only increase the demand for web-based solutions.
