Swissrisk AG and Imagnos AG (formerly CSK Software) have merged to create a medium-sized European software group taht aims to serve the financial services industry.

The new company, which is called Swissrisk – Financial Systems, employs 120 people in 5 offices in Europe. It aims to offer a portfolio management, trading and payments, asset management, custody and customer relationship management applications.

“Through the merger and additional investments in high profile industry executives, we have reinforced our commitment in the German, Swiss, Spanish, Benelux and UK markets, which will lead to improved service levels for our clients,” says Dr. Thomas Wolfensberger, Managing Director Swissrisk. “Customers will benefit from more integrated product solutions that are easier to deploy, and yield a shorter time to market. This in turn will result in lower total cost of ownership with higher overall Return on Investment.”
