As of December 29, 2005, a new sub-market will be launched in on the Oslo Stock Exchange called Other Fixed Income Products.
Opening hours for trading will be CET 09:00 am – 4:15 pm. The sub-market will be used for special Fixed Income instruments. The instruments to be listed on this submarket are a new type of instrument for the Swedish market that does not fulfil the exchange’s requirements to be registered on the submarket for Index Linked Bonds and/or similar submarkets. The first product on this submarket will be listed as of December 29.
This sub-market and the product are ready for external testing in the external SAXESS test system (SAXTST3). As of January 02, 2006, new trading hours for Norwegian equity sub-market. To harmonise the opening hours with the other Nordic markets, Oslo Brs will extend its trading hours for the equity market. Opening at CET 9:00 am, and closing at 4:30 pm, with effect from January 2, 2006. Norwegian equity sub-market will then open at CET 09:00, the same time as for Swedish, Finnish and Danish Equity markets. The opening procedure (to open up all equities) for the Swedish equities at CET 09:00 will then be approximately 30 seconds longer than today’s nine minutes. Finnish and Danish equity markets will be affected in a similar way.
