SEC Requests Documents From Florida Pension Funds, Says Report

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has requested all documents from the Delray Beach and West Palm Beach public pension plans regarding their relationships with Smith Barney, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, citing officials from boards governing those plans. Chuck Jeroloman, chairman of the Delray Beach police and firefighter pension board, and Bonni Jensen, attorney for the West Palm Beach police pension board, said Friday that the SEC had contacted the boards recently requesting the documents, according to the report.
