CRHoV has a membership status in the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and works in full compliance with the international standards.

After the split of State Union Serbia and Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia continued its existence as an independent country. This reflected in change of country code and further in the change of currency code and ISIN codes.

The new alpha currency code for Serbia is RSD and new numeric currency code is 941. As notified by SWIFT, new currency codes will be in use starting from 9 December 2006. By October 2007, all SWIFT users will have to switch to the new currency code. In the meantime, both currency codes could be used.

National Bank of Serbia made a decision on mandatory use of new currency code for Serbian dinar starting from 9 December 2006 for all local banks. In the period from 9 December 2006 until October 2007, following SWIFT rules, HVB bank will act upon clients’ instructions no matter whether they use old or new currency code.

The change of ISIN codes of the local securities will happen on 2 December 2006, when the prefix “CS” will be changed to “RS”. This change becomes effective from 4 December 2006.
