IPM, a multi-boutique based in Stockholm offering quantitative investment strategies to institutional investors, is extending its offer to European institutional investors in the fundamental index field.

IPM has launched four Fundamental Index SICAV funds based in Luxemburg that together have received an initial seed capital of around Euro65 million.

“We started to offer fundamental index strategies in managed account format in early 2006,” says Jonas Rinn, CEO and co-founder of IPM. “Interest has been very strong and we already have USD one billion under management in the strategy. There has also been demand for a pooled fund vehicle and with the launch of this on-shore registered fund product the fundamental index strategy is now accessible for a broader set of investors including smaller and mid-size institutions. We believe there is great potential here.”
