F&C Asset Management, has appointed Cristobal Mendez de Vigo to the new position of Head of Distribution and Business Development.
Mr. Mendez de Vigo will join the Executive Committee of the Group. He will primarily focus on developing F&C’s institutional and European wholesale businesses through both third-parties and strategic partners.
Mr. Mendez de Vigo joins from Allianz Global Investors where he has worked since 1996, mainly based in Hong Kong as Head of Strategic Planning and Business Development for the Asia Pacific region and since 2005 as Chief Executive Officer for Allianz Global Investors Australia Limited in Sydney. He began his asset management career as an Institutional Marketing Manager at Dresdner Bank AG in Frankfurt.
