HSBC Actuaries and Consultants Have Appointed Richard Reid As CEO.
For the last five years, Reid has been Head of Insurance at HSBC Actuaries and Consultants in Malta where he had responsibility for all insurance and pension-related matters for the country. Prior to his move to Malta, he was Chief Operating Officer for HSBC’s Private Client business in the UK and has carried out a number of senior managerial and actuarial roles within HSBC’s UK Life Company.
“Under Alan’s leadership HSBC Actuaries and Consultants has developed a strong reputation for meeting the challenging and ever changing demands of Trustees and pension funds in the UK. I am very proud to take up this mantel and to continue to develop the business to creatively meet these demanding expectations,” says Reid.
Reid will be based at the firm’s headquarters in St Albans and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and takes over from Alan Fishman who retires at the end of this year.
