Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management has hired a team of three to serve high net worth clients in the Native American market.

The team will be based in Los Angeles and includes two Investment Representatives: Vice President Bernard Machlovitch and Vice President Hans Maentz, and Sales Associate Monica Aguilera. They join from Lehman Brothers and report to Todd Locicero, Regional Manager of the Private Wealth Management office in Los Angeles.

“We are extremely pleased that this team, who has built a very successful and comprehensive wealth management practice focused almost exclusively on Native American Tribes, has decided to join Morgan Stanley,” says Locicero. “Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management is committed to further developing our coverage of Native American Investment solutions and Bernard and Hans will be critical to leading our efforts.”

Machlovitch began his career at Lehman Brothers in 2002. He holds a B.A. from McGill University and an M.B.A from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Machlovitch also earned a graduate degree in Sports Administration from Concordia University.

Maentz also began his career in 2002 with Lehman Brothers. He earned a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.B.A from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Prior to attending graduate school, Maentz was the Director of Major Gifts for the Hill School in Pennsylvania.

Aguilera holds a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, she worked at Wells Fargo.
