On Friday, Deutsche Boerse announced changes to its indices DivDAX and koDAX. Effective 22 September, new weights will apply in the German equity indices DAX, MDAX, SDAX and TecDAX, as well as in the strategy indices and the international indices of Deutsche Boerse including koDAX and DivDAX.
In DivDAX the following shares will be included: Merck, MAN and BMW. The shares of Hypo Real Estate, Continental and Deutsche Brse will leave the index.
In koDAX the share of SMA Solar will be included and replace the share of Ersol Solar Energy. The koDAX index tracks the ten largest stocks from the renewable energies sector in terms of market capitalization.
