Awards for Excellence recognised Chris Smith’s work on Electronic Trade Confirmation (ETC) and awarded him with Lifetime Achievement Award at Operations Management, 2008
Chris Smith, Director, NYFIX International, contributed much in developing and pioneering electronic trade confirmation processes in the early ’90s while at Fidelity Investments. His ETC invention became industry standard for minimizing post-trade risks and increasing efficiency through automation.
Together with Howard Edelstein, CEO of NYFIX, Chris continues ETC initiatives and now in March of this year he plans to launch NYFIX’s dark pool, Euro Millennium.
