BNY Mellon Wealth Management appoints Elizabeth M. Engel as head of private bank lending. Her remit will include the control of credit administration, underwriting and portfolio risk management.

Elizabeth M. Engel is a professional of high caliber. She led a multibillion dollar lending business for the firms private bank and brokerage operations working as a managing director and head of U.S. lending for Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management group. Engel also held senior position at JPMorgan Private Bank.

In the new role Elizabeth M. Engel will report to Bill Sappington, executive director of national banking.

Liz’s exceptional credit experience and commitment to client service will help ensure her significant contributions to our efforts as we continue to expand our credit and lending capabilities nationwide, says Bill Sappington.
