ClariFI, a Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ business and provider of software and services focused on providing investment managers with a complete application to their research and production workflows, and Standard & Poor’s Compustat, a high quality fundamental data and corporate information, launch ModelStation Xpress, a web-delivered analytics/data technology for investment management research and production, based on ClariFI’s flagship product ModelStation and the Compustat Xpressfeed database.

ModelStation Xpress takes the industry’s investment management platform to new heights by combining its robust analytics with Compustat Xpressfeed’s data packages in a software-as-service delivery platform, thus eliminating the need for hardware or installation while maintaining the ability to integrate with client data. This joint offering provides fast and secure web-based access to ModelStation’s full functionality including its backtesting, event study, portfolio construction, and portfolio attribution features.

“While we’ve already established ModelStation as the industry-standard platform for quantitative analytics, we firmly believe that being able to offer a web-delivered version of our product paired with a foundational set of timely, reliable data will help us appeal to an even greater segment of the market,” says Donovan Goodreau, vice president of sales & business development for ClariFI. “ModelStation Xpress is simply an extension of our strategy to deliver the most flexible and comprehensive platform for research and production to all levels of the investment management community.”

“We are very excited to deepen our partnership with ClariFI on this great product offering,” says Mark Arduino, vice president of sales for Standard & Poor’s Compustat. “As a global company, we see tremendous value in leveraging the collaborative capabilities of ModelStation and Compustat, and we are confident that this joint solution will give clients the data and analytics needed to deliver winning investment strategies in less time and with less effort.”
