Aquila Consulting Services, LLC, a back-office applications service provider to the asset management industry, adds Narman Murtaza, as the firm’s Director.
In his new role, Murtaza will be leading the Aquila Consulting Services team in delivering value added services to clients, implementing, upgrading, and optimizing client portfolio accounting systems and associated business processes. Murtaza has joined Aquila following two and a half years as Assistant Vice President of Finance at Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC, a prominent $7 Billion Private Equity firm in Los Angeles. Previously, Murtaza held several management positions at the Los Angeles offices of BNY Mellon and Trust Company of the West. He has extensive experience in accounting, back-office operations, system implementations, and has been integral to the design and adoption of efficiency promoting practices. Mr. Murtaza is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles and is a Level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
