Oded Weiss has joined IGEFI Group, a software provider to the investment funds industry, as Chief Executive Officer and Board member. Weiss assumes the CEO position from Bertil Rouveure, who has become Chairman of the companys Board of Management and is staying actively involved.
Weiss brings many years of successful industry experience to his new role, having used technology to achieve operational efficiencies in areas such as fund administration, clearing and settlement, corporate trust, and custody work. Most recently, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company in New York, where he was head of the wholesale banking operation and technologypractice.
Prior to McKinsey, Weiss was a Principal in the information technology practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Financial Services Group in New York. There he worked with major financial institutions on implementing technology platforms and solutions.
