Metavante is now providing the option to add financial planning and advice technology to its existing wealth management offering.

Through a combined offering resulting from Metavante Corporation’s existing alliance with AdviceAmerica, financial institutions have the ability to implement both wealth management and advisory services solutions through a single relationship with Metavante.

As a result of this alliance, all clients deploying Metavante’s TrustDesk wealth management platform can now complement the solution with financial planning and advice capabilities powered by AdvisorVision, AdviceAmerica’s financial planning software. FineMark National Bank & Trust, headquartered in Fort Myers, Fla., has deployed the TrustDesk and AdvisorVision tools independently since the bank’s inception in 2007, and will be involved in the integration development between the two solutions.

“The combined offering will support FineMark’s advisory service model toward establishing client relationships and driving greater efficiencies within our organization. Future integration between the solutions will deliver an easier way to monitor actual portfolio performance against goals outlined in financial plans, allowing us greater ability to go beyond banking in support of a more dynamic advisory relationship with our clients,” says Richard Riley, executive vice president, FineMark.

“Together, the TrustDesk and AdvisorVision solutions create an advanced approach to wealth management that addresses advisor needs throughout the entire client lifecycle,” says Purna Pareek, chief executive officer, AdviceAmerica. “Advisors can create new planning models of any magnitude with the flexibility to change key points at any time-creating living tools to continuously use in the management of the relationship, not just a one-time exercise that quickly loses relevance.”

“In a complex, rapidly growing wealth management market, financial institutions need to deliver a more complete offering to remain competitive, yet struggle with how to bring it all together,” says Brian Robinson, president, Metavante Wealth Management Solutions. “Offering AdvisorVision and TrustDesk tools in a combined solution will help financial institutions to not only reduce overhead costs, but deepen client relationships, as the planning-centric approach to wealth management helps financial institutions achieve the role of trusted advisor with their clients.”
