Commerzbank, one of the banks in Germany for private and corporate customers, has chosen SunGard’s Ambit Messaging Hub to process all of its FileAct and InterAct traffic. Previously using SunGards Ambit MINT messaging platform, Commerzbank decided to migrate to the Ambit Messaging Hub, which supports all FileAct and InterAct modes for multiple banking relationships.

SunGards Ambit Messaging Hub provides a bridge between existing back-office systems and dynamic outbound channels. Ambit Messaging Hub facilitates connectivity to business services and helps banks adapt to new standards while minimizing changes to their core infrastructure.

SunGards Ambit Messaging Hub for FileAct and InterAct has helped us serve our large corporate customers in a very flexible way and with less strain on our IT resources, says Gert Ulott, SWIFT IT Services of Commerzbank AG. It was a natural step for Commerzbank to migrate from Ambit MINT to the Ambit Messaging Hub as our needs and the needs of our customers have evolved. We are now migrating all related flows to the new platform, including all EBA STEP2 traffic.

Ambit Messaging Hub is a flexible and cost-effective application for financial messaging, says Hans Cobben, executive vice president, global messaging for SunGards Ambit Messaging business unit. We are pleased to see that our customers are subscribing to our strategy of migrating from MINT to Ambit Messaging Hub. We look forward to deepening our relationship with Commerzbank as it continues to grow and adapt to advances in messaging technology.
