Orange Business Services – Trading Solutions, a convergent voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services for trading communities, is linking its network to SunGards GL Net, a low latency market data and order routing network. Bringing together the two companies networks will help customers who use either network to benefit from the ability to reach a wider financial services community and utilise additional services.
Work on interconnecting the two networks started earlier this month. Once live, existing Orange Business Services – Trading Solutions customers will have immediate access to SunGards GL Net community, an ASP-based platform that connects market makers to 80 exchanges and other market centers, including the London Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and NYSE-Euronext. SunGards customers will benefit from Orange Business Services – Trading Solutions voice and data connectivity solutions.
