AG|Delta Pte Ltd, a financial technology solutions provider, released its latest version of AG|Capital v 1.6 at the Asian Financial Services Congress in Singapore.

The solution has caught the attention of financial services industry for both its extensive business domain coverage in wealth services and investment product distribution, as well as use of contemporary technologies to set a new standard in online solution capabilities.

The two undeniable realities in financial services today is firstly, the market demand across a broad spectrum of investment products is growing at an astonishing rate across the Asia Pacific and second, most financial institutions are not equipped with the systems to support a large scale electronic distribution service for all types of investment products, says Andrew Au, co-founder and principal business strategist.

Au when on to point out that many financial institutions operated as a collection of business silos, each specializing in a limited array of investment products within a geographic territory. This made it impossible to achieve a holistic view of their customers entire portfolio and transact any investment product efficiently whilst maintaining compliance.

AG|Capital was designed to unify the business silos and channel all wealth services and investment product transaction capabilities through an online portal that Wealth Managers and their Customers can access anywhere and anytime, says Lawrence Grinceri, co-founder and principal technology architect at AG|Delta. AG|Capital uses the latest web technologies and eliminates the need for a myriad of proprietary, client/server applications Wealth Managers currently juggle to submit orders to each business silo.

Grinceri went on to say that AG|Capital was built using non proprietary component technologies based on FpML and FIX industry standard, which has allowed the company to achieve development productivity not thought possible only a few year ago. The shift to open industry standards combined with the adoption of Open Source technologies by industry leaders is a game changer that provides enormous benefits to solution vendors and their customers, says Grinceri.
