Brown Brothers Harriman has appointed Robert Lees as head of securities lending, and Richard Meek as head of securities lending relationship management for the Asia pacific region

Brown Brothers Harriman has appointed Robert Lees as head of securities lending, and Richard Meek as head of securities lending relationship management for the Asia pacific region.

Both Lees and Meek will be based in Hong Kong.

Lees has been at BBH for eight years and was previously vice president and senior trader within the BBH Global Securities Lending arm. Meek, a vice president with BBH for ten years, previously led the European Securities Lending relationship team in London.

In January 2010 Brown Brothers Harriman recently relocated Andrew J. F. Tucker, one of its senior partners, to Hong Kong where he assumed responsibility for the region.

In September 2009 BBH also opened a representative office in Beijing, their third in the region after Hong Kong and Tokyo.
