Tradar, the portfolio management and accounting technology provider to the buy-side globally, has officially joined the Markit Certified Alliance Partner programme, after the group fully integrated Markits credit-default-swap (CDS) pricing, indexing and reference data into its product, Insight.

The move will mean that Tradar’s Insight will now able to provide end-of-day CDS pricing.

We have always recognised the importance of interoperability with leading market data providers and made that a key focus of both development and implementation,” says Trevor Headley, Global Head of Product Strategy at Tradar. “Indeed, the software has been carefully designed to ensure seamless integration with the widest possible range of third-party and proprietary solutions. Working with Markit on single name and index CDS valuation is in line with our aim to give the best possible support to clients trading complex instruments.

This news follows a number of key announcements for Tradar, which has seen a number of clients successfully upgrade to the latest version of Insight 4.0, which was unveiled at SIFMA in June 2010.
