The Slovak and Czech central securities depositaries could be interconnected as of September, which Maria Hurajova, the director general of Bratislava Stock Market, says is the main condition for dual trading of securities on both markets.
The presence of more share issues of companies from the Czech Republic could boost trading on the Slovak capital market.
“I think that we will be able to carry out the first deals, for example, in the form of dual listing of Czech companies in September, Hurajova says.
The dual listing of Czech companies on the Slovak market, and vice versa, will help to increase the liquidity on both markets.
