Following the news that Andrew Rand had left Brown Brothers Harriman to become regional head of Direct Securities Services (DSS) in EMEA for Deutsche Bank, BBH has appointed Cherie A. Graham to fill the role.
Graham will assume responsibility for overseeing the firms global sub-custodian network, which covers nearly 100 markets. She will report to Tim Connelly, partner in charge of BBHs Innovation and Product Support Division, which includes network management.
The vision at BBH is to consolidate vendor management under one senior manager,” says Connelly. “Given Cherie’s deep industry experience, and proven track record on our globalization initiatives, we believe that she presents the right mix of collaboration skills and insight for working with our clients, and business partners, to develop and deliver new offerings.”
Graham joined BBH in 2004 and has held roles in operations, strategy, project management and product development. She has led numerous new ventures for BBH clients, including derivatives, exchange-traded funds and global retirement solutions. Most recently, Graham spearheaded BBHs globalization efforts in establishing offshore operations.
BBH is well positioned as a leading global custodian with a comprehensive offering and proven client service track record,” says Graham. I look forward to joining the Network Management team and working directly with our global bank partners. BBH provides many of the world’s largest asset managers and financial institutions with valuable local expertise, which helps them successfully navigate in these complex times.”
