Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is launching a new strategy research product called Global Portfolio Strategy.

The software is intended to provide portfolio managers with a consistent analytical framework for analyzing regional, country and sector-based global equity.

We are very pleased to introduce the new Global Portfolio Strategy product, says Robert Hughes, who is responsible for BBHs global equity strategy research. This is a major expansion of our portfolio strategy platform, extending the process-driven approach that has long been a key characteristic of BBH U.S. Portfolio Strategy to global equity markets.

Hughes, who joined BBH in 2011 after holding senior research positions at State Street Global Markets, leads a team focused on earnings estimates and estimate revisions, valuations, macroeconomic data, fundamental data, and a qualitative analysis of trends in geopolitics and policy variables.

This product complements the existing BBH research suite, adding a new perspective on regional and global sector equity allocations. When combined with our international stock-level earnings analysis, it provides another layer of tools to help portfolio managers with their global equity investment decisions, says Andrew Burkly, director of Equity Strategy Research at BBH. We believe this new addition to the BBH equity research platform will be very useful for our clients and welcome their feedback.
