CIBC Mellon has been selected to provide asset-servicing solutions for Radin Capital Partners’ new Radin Global Opportunities Fund.

CIBC Mellon will provide custody, fund accounting, unit-holder recordkeeping and real-time access to investment information via CIBC Mellon’s Workbench platform. CIBC Mellon will also support Radins global investments via BNY Mellon.

“We’re very proud to empower the new Radin Global Opportunities Fund with Canada’s leading asset servicing technology,” says Tom Monahan, president and CEO of CIBC Mellon. “Radin’s strong track record and history of outperformance make them a natural fit for our company.”

Brad Radin, CEO and CIO of Radin Capital Partners, adds: “CIBC Mellon’s team demonstrated an exceptional commitment to build a client-focused partnership. They worked with us to create a real solution and identified not only the services that fit our needs, but also those that didn’t. Great service coupled with outstanding technology, Canadian-based expertise and global reach through the BNY Mellon global network made CIBC Mellon the clear choice for us.”

Separately, BNY Mellon was appointed by UBM, a global live media and B2B provider, as the sponsored depositary bank for its American depositary receipt (ADR) program.

Each UBM ADR represents one ordinary share and trades on the OTC markets under the symbol “UBMPY.” UBM’s local shares trade on the London Stock Exchange under the code “UBM” and are a constituent of the FTSE 250 share index.

“We established this sponsored ADR facility in order to enhance our U.S. investor relations efforts,” says Robert Grey, CFO for UBM. “We look forward to working with BNY Mellon and to attracting further interest in our equity from the U.S. capital market.”
