Fundtech Adds to Cash Management and Sales Teams

Fundtech, a transaction banking solutions provider, has hired Michael Jackson as head of Americas cash management, and the company has made additional sales appointments.

Fundtech, a transaction banking solutions provider, has hired Michael Jackson as head of Americas cash management, and the company has made additional sales appointments.

Prior to Fundtech, Jackson served as vice president of ACI’s Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) group. Before ACI, he held various senior roles with S1 Corporation, including general manager of the firm’s Americas Channel where he helped design and develop S1’s Corporate Banking Application. He began his career in financial services at Regions Financial Corporation, and in all has over 25 years of experience in financial services.

At Fundtech, he will reports to Gil Gadot, head of global cash management, and Edward Ho, president and chief operating officer.

“Michael Jackson brings a wealth of experience in financial services and technology, and has a deep understanding of the liquidity challenges facing corporate treasurers, as well as the needs of the banks that serve this group,” says Gadot. “With a demonstrated track record of team leadership, business growth, and improved customer satisfaction, he will drive the evolution of Fundtech’s North American cash management product suite to best serve its customers.”

For sales, Fundtech has hired Peter Reynolds as managing director for EMEA Sales. Reynolds will report to Chris Zingo, global head of sales.

Prior to Fundtech, Reynold gained more than 12 years of sales and management experience in financial services. Most recently, he led the EMEA sales initiatives for treasury and risk management solutions provider, Reval. Prior to joining Reval, he was a sales director at Thomson Financial. He began his career as a relationship manager at HSBC.

“Peter Reynolds will be a tremendous asset to furthering Fundtech’s sales initiatives throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” says Zingo. “His strong relationships in the region, coupled with his deep understanding of the transaction banking business, will help us to increase market share for our various leading solutions in these increasingly important and rapidly evolving markets.”

Fundtech has also hired Mattia Bruzzi as senior sales executive, global sales, and appointed Nihit Ahuja to the EMEA Sales team.
