SmartStream Acquires Credit Suisse's Fee and Expense Management Software

SmartStream Technologies has acquired Credit Suisse’s proprietary commission fees and expense management software, which will be combine with SmartStream’s existing offerings.

The technology will be used to offer clients, including Credit Suisse, more control and transparency into costs at each stage of the fee lifecycle, including execution analysis and optimization, timely substantiation of invoices and daily accounting accruals and allocations, says SmartStream.

SmartStream aims to provide efficiencies by standardizing the cost management ecosystem across all broker and provider fee formats and automating complex fee computations, discounts and rebates.
