4Pines Fund Services adds private capital CFO to its ranks as new chief client officer

Fund administrator bolsters team through high-profile addition with extensive asset management and private capital background.

4Pines Fund Services has appointed an experienced private capital and asset management executive as its new president and chief client officer (CCO).  

Celeste Barone joins 4Pines with 25 years’ experience managing the financial operations of multi-billion-dollar private capital and asset managers. 

Most recently, she held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Commonfund, a $25 billion asset manager that offers investment solutions to nonprofit institutions. 

She was also a member of the executive committee and CFO of the fund’s $12 billion private capital subsidiary.

Previously, Barone was managing director of finance and chief compliance officer of Pomona Capital, a New York-based alternative investment firm specialising in secondary transactions with over $12 billion of capital since inception. 

In her role as CCO, Barone will oversee efforts to grow and maintain client relationships.
