Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a global consultant, has appointed Mark Horne as a senior investment consultant and Andrew Brown as an investment consultant in its London investment manager research team. The firm has also appointed Raazia Ganie and Justine OConnell as investment consultants in its London office.

“We are delighted to welcome Mark, Andrew, Raazia and Justine to our rapidly evolving business,” says Paul Trickett, European head of investment consulting at Watson Wyatt. “Growing demand for the full range of our services from institutional investors would indicate that we are in tune with their requirements but also means that we will need to continue hiring at this rate for the foreseeable future in order to satisfy this demand.”

Horne joins from Natixis Global Associates UK, where he was Director of Client Services and a Fixed Income Product Specialist. He worked with a variety of equity, fixed income and alternative investment managers, prior to which he was at RBS Asset Management as a Senior Researcher. Horne will conduct ongoing research and evaluation of bond managers and will report to Margaret Frost, global head of bonds. He is a charter holder of the CFA designation.

Brown has seven years private equity research experience including working for Robbins & Associates, a financial and accounting advisory firm in Chicago and has a MBA from the University of Chicago and a M.Phil from Cambridge. He joins the private equity manager research team.

Ganie joins from Poalim Asset Management, prior to which she worked at PSolve Asset Solutions. She is a holder of the Investment Management Certificate.

OConnell joins Watson Wyatts Defined Contribution team from Frontier Investment Consulting in Melbourne.
