BearingPoint announced Wednesday that it will design and implement an enterprise data warehouse solution for the UK’s Defense Logistics Organization.
The current contract is valued at over GBP 2million, but it could increase to GBP 5 million if all of the available options are exercised.
The DLO outlined its need for a structured and centralized data repository for logistics management information to BearingPoint which is sometimes called by the DLO a “single version of the truth.”
The DLO Enterprise Data Warehouse will store and manage information from the various logistics systems currently in place, supporting both rotary and fixed wing aircraft fleets for the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Army.
