Thomas Wilson, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Allstate Corporation has been appointed to the board of directors at State Street. The addition of Wilson brings the companys total number of directors to 13.
Wilson joined Allstate in 1995 and served in various roles prior to becoming president and chief executive officer in 2007. Prior to Allstate, Wilson held senior positions at Sears, Roebuck & Company and Dean Witter Reynolds, with responsibility for strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions.
