The Bond Market Association announced the election of its 2006 Board of Directors. Edward C. Forst, of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., Blythe Masters, of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and Michele Faissola, of Deutsche Bank, will continue in their roles as chair, vice chair, and treasurer, respectively, until the completion of their eighteen month terms at the end of 2006. The rest of the Board will serve one or two year terms beginning January 1, 2006.

Forst is chief administrative officer at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., where he is also a member of the firm’s management committee and chairs both the firmwide capital and the firmwide business practices committees. At J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Masters is the chief financial officer of J.P. Morgan Investment Bank.

At Deutsche Bank, Faissola is a managing director and global head of rates, as well as a member of the firm’s global markets executive committee, where he has global responsibility for the bank’s retail business across asset classes.

Other Board members who will serve as chairs or vice chairs of divisions, forums, or certain committees are:

Corporate Credit Markets Division: Eric Rosen, managing director and head of North American credit trading, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., chair; Mark Davies, senior managing director and head of global credit derivatives trading, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., vice chair.
