SEB Boosts Assets Under Custody

Nordic sub-custodian SEB increased its assets under custody to SEK5.19 trillion ($830 billion) by the end of the fourth quarter last year, nearly a SEK700 billion krona rise year over year.

Quarterly net income for custody and mutual fund business also rose, from SEK1.80 billion to SEK1.84 billion from Q4 2011 to Q4 2012, according to the banks 2012 annual accounts factbook.

SEB as a whole reported total operating of SEK38.82 billion in 2012, in comparison with SEK37.69 billion in 2011.

The bank says it has a liquidity coverage ratio of 113%, core Tier 1 capital ratio of 15.1% (13.7% at year-end) and Basel III Common Equity Tier 1 ratio of 13.1%.
