London-based Catalyst, a consultancy specialising in IT and operations in the securities and fund management markets, has appointed Paul Collins to its Board of Directors to provide support and guidance on corporate strategy and marketing.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to support Catalyst’s growth plans,” says Collins. “Catalyst is one of the few firms in the consulting market which really understands how to effect change and, more importantly, make it stick. Catalyst’s skills in the financial services market are in great demand and these skills will continue to strengthen as the sector undergoes rapid structural, regulatory and technological changes. I look forward to exciting developments over the coming years.”
Greg Davis, CEO of Catalyst, says he expects Collins to accelerate the growth of the business. As well as sitting on Catalyst’s Board, Collins is the managing director of Consulting Development, which provides advice, support and resources to other consulting firms.
Prior to this, Collins built and sold three consulting businesses – the largest being WCI (formerly World Class International Ltd), a consulting and IT services firm that he grew from 20 consultants and 4 million revenues in 1995 to 63 million in sales and over 350 staff in 2002.
