Nexxo has completed the installation of a new electronic money transfer service at 19 HSBC Credit Center branch offices in California and Texas. The new service provided by Nexxo Financial Corp., self-service money remittance technology provider, allows customers to remit money to more than 21,000 pick-up points and banking locations in Latin America, including banking branches of HSBC Mexico.

By using patent-pending kiosk technology, customers in the United States are able to remit money directly to the La Efectiva card of an HSBC Mexico customer. La Efectiva is an ATM/Visa card that works like a debit card and can be used to withdraw money with no fees at 1,400 HSBC branches in Mexico and 4,500 ATM locations. The La Efectiva card is also accepted at any retail location in Mexico that accepts VISA. Beneficiaries will have immediate access to money whenever they need it.

The new electronic money transfer service will be offered by Nexxo at very competitive rates and Nexxo will provide knowledgeable staff onsite for a limited time to guide HSBC customers and ensure a smooth transaction. Customers will receive their first remittance of up to $1,000 free plus a free five minute call to the beneficiary of the money.
